Life of a leader at HITAM!

I chose ECE cause I was passionate to know and have a hands-on learning experience on how things work beyond just the screen. The faculty is allocated to a subject is always an expert or has minimum experience to deliver great content. There are various pedagogical methods used in the class for teaching. There are 2 mid-exams conducted per semester. I never had a tough time in passing all the subjects infact scored the highest.

The internship opportunities are open from the second year. The college also gives you company-specific training. A notable achievement is an internship at Goldman Sachs as a summer analyst intern with a stipend of 1,00,000 per month. There are many other companies visiting too.

We have companies visiting from the third year itself. The college provides a career training facility from the very first year. Two students from the 2024 batch have cracked the Goldman Sachs internship with a stipend of 1,00,000 per month.

The total fee is around Rs 85,000 per year. Since I availed the scholarship I had to pay Rs 40,000 each year under BCB reservation. The bus fee costs around Rs 30,000 There's also an option to pay the fee in instalments using the Jodo app.

HITAM nurtures students according to their interests. I am a very outspoken person and have always been fascinated by the idea of public speaking. Hearing of HITAM TOASTMASTERS CLUB, immediately I was a part of it. It's been 2 years into this club and it has taught me how to network, how to go impromptu, how to manage a huge audience a lot more. I gave speeches, wrote articles and hosted district conferences. I was the vice president and proudly the current president (2023-24) for the club. Another unique part of HITAM is its student's centric nature. Here we have SSG which stands for Students Self Governance. Its objective is to protect and improve the rights, opportunities, and quality of life of every student at the Institutional level. We have a replica of the institutional roles of students; from the director, and principal to all the deans. Being the Student Director for 2023-24 I can only say it has made me a lot more responsible, accountable and committed to bringing a change.

I had appeared for TS EAMCET 2020, secured a rank of 15000 and JEE MAINS 2020 secured 92 percentile. I opted for ECE in HITAM out of all the colleges available in and around. Reached out to the college, a group of students guided us to the addmission block. The whole process was thoroughly explained by the faculty and helped until the end of the admission process.
