Jee rank was the criteria for admission. No interview was there.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is BE(cse). It's good for someone who is interested in coding and things. Practical learning is ok not that good

Yes the college provide internship for 2nd yr students.

Placement Experience

Placements in cse it ece branches are more. Average package is 4-6 lacs. Placement in other branches is not that much but companies do visit

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's around 70k-90k per year. The fees is semester wise. It's around 40k in one semester and then around 35k in 2nd. Others fees are also there like examination fees etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good. Rooms are good in new hostels. Food is ok. Atmosphere is good in hostels and timings are also flexible.

Exam Structure

Exams are as per schedule. We have 2 sessionals of 30 marks each from which best is chosen and semester exam is of 50 marks and 20 is internal. Exams are not very tough and not very easy.

Faculty

Some are good some are not. Teachers are highly qualified but some shows more effort to teach and know how to teach. But most of them are not good. Only a few are good

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
