Medi-Caps review by a sophomore

As I was interested in computer science so I decided to opt for this course. The faculty: students ratio for BTech cse is 1:60. Most of the faculty have Ph.D. and are dedicated to their field. They are always willing to solve the doubt. Exams are used to be held timely on the date which is given in the academic calendar which is provided in advance to students. If a student is regular in class and has good attendance and used to give at least 1 hour for self-study daily then it's very easy for him to pass all the subjects.

Many companies offered internships in the role of a web developer. Some companies provided the role of data analysis. But it's very rare to get a stipend while working in an internship on our campus, despite some time students have to pay for paid internships in college.

Students become eligible for campus placement from 5 th semester. Approx 3000 companies visited the campus and 1600+ offers were made. The highest package offered on campus is 20 LPA and off campus is 50lps by Amazon. The average package is about 4-5 LPA with a post of system engineer in a mass recruiter company like TCS, Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, etc. Approx 90% of students get placed in on-campus placement. My plan is to secure a job and then go for higher studies.

Right now the fees of college are constant but they have increased the fees of the hostel by rupees 5000 if paid yearly and rupees 10000 if paid semester-wise. Most of the students are not willing to live in the hostel due to restrictions of time and a lack of infrastructure.

Social life on campus is good if you're involved in any type of club, annual fests like Moonstone, tech fest, and literary fests like Litopia are conducted on a regular basis, every month one or two fests are organized in a good manner. The Central Library of the college is also well equipped with all books including books for competitive exams like UPSC, gate. Some classrooms have a projector and a theatre room while some are simple classrooms. The projector is available in all classrooms throughout the 2nd year. CSE department classrooms are very beautiful providing a good environment. Sports facilities are also available, the college has a gym, a table tennis room, a basketball court, a football ground, a cricket ground, parks and a badminton court, and a volleyball court. Much empty ground is also available for games like Kho-Kho, Futsal, and Kabaddi. Some of the college's groups and clubs are, the advanced studies club, techno club, stic club, maths club, sanity the literary club, etc.

I filled out the admission inquiry form from the college's admission site then I got a counseling form link to my email address. Where I filled in all my preferred choice for my 12th and Jee Mains marks. The form for the inquiry is available on the college's site i.e. www.medicaps.ac.in.
