- Outing was available on only Sunday food 2 or 3 hours other than that if you have to visit outside from the university you need permission of hostel Warden as well as your parents
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty are well qualified. There are 30 seats for combined MA/M.Sc. student for clinical psychology. Teachers are Ph.D. holders and their teaching method is practical and good. There is an internal exam in the mid-semester and an external exam at the semester's end. It was not too difficult to pass the exam if you are attending the teacher's class in a well-mannered way.
Placement Experience
In 4th semester you are eligible for campus placement the company visited for the campus placement is a retailer which is established in Mohali Punjab the highest average package the company gave is like 3 lakh per annum to the student depending on their experience. If you will apply your chance might be to get placement but depending on the interviews and the placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Rs- 20,000/- was a fee for every semester including the hostel fee as well. It is a residential college. There is a placement opportunity when any company ties up with them. I'm also working through the company placement.
Campus Life
'Utsav' is an annual fest that happens every year. They are conducted every March or April. Students have access to a library in which there are several books with which a student can access their knowledge, there are also several research papers and journals for reading. There are various practical tests available in the classroom and the practical lab of the Psychology Department.
Hostel Facilities
In-room, there is like almirah, bed, fan, table, and chair available. Milk qualities well but Sattvic like no onion or garlic is used in the meal. This is a residential college so there is no extra registration process for the hostel and affordability is included in the semester fee as well. The Haridwar locality is very good to leave and the Ganga New is a peaceful place okay but this is a residential college so you should live on University Campus only.
Admission
If you have to get admission for MA/M.Sc. in clinical psychology from DSVV you have to fill out the form and give an entrance exam and interview to get admission. Eligibility criteria- Bachelor in Science/Bachelor in Art. You will find the application form by going to the official site of DSVV.
