Remarks

The overall performance of college was good ,the main thing which was not present was placements and internship opportunities to students,even now the scenario is same,college should focus on it's internships and placements activities so that students could be placed

I wrote the admission test organised by S.M.College which is known as Bachelor's Admission test(Bat) and after that merit list is made and i was called to complete the admission procedure and than i took admission in B.S.C(Botany), i was interested in botany so i opted for B.sc in botany currently am pursuing my p.h.d along with my job.

The course curriculum was good, it increased my interest more in botany, the college follows the guidelines of curriculum provide by tilka manjhi bhagalpur university,as it is a constituent college of the university,the teachers were interactive as it is having experienced faculties in every department holding p.h.d degrees..

Internships Opportunities

No internships were there at my time and no student did internships also even now there is no internship opportunities provided to any students in any course of the college.

Placement Experience

There was no placement in my course B.S.C(Botany) as it is a basic science course also there was no placement in other courses too at my time,even now the college is lacking in placements and there is no placements in any branch ,so the placement scenario is not bad here...

The fee structure was affordable as it is a government college , i used to fill approx 1,200 rupees a year as my course fees and the college is good as it is one of the prominent institutes in bihar so the fees were worth paid...

Campus Life

College was very good in terms of extracurricular,many of my batchmates played upto national level in their respective games,and everyone got ample opportunities to explore their talent...

Faculties were very experienced at my time most of them were having p.h.d degrees and also they were very interactive,practical learning was encouraged between us so that we can learn our subjects properly and can do well in our respective fields.

The reality of A.N college: Academic, Politics, and placement.

Placement Experience:

From the last year students become eligible for the compus placement. Many students get selected in the campus filed like sbi, airtel, Infosys, icici bank etc. The highest package reached around 5 lac and average around 2-3 lac per annum. 80 percent placement rates my plan after getting the honour degree to full the government exam on graduation level.

A Meaningful Academic Journey with Practical Exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. For students who want to go for higher studies, the theoretical base provided by the course is quite helpful. There are a few areas where the curriculum and teaching methods can be improved. Some subjects have outdated topics which should be updated according to current industry trends. More focus can be given to practical training, internships, and skill-based courses. so i applied for BHU Banaras Hindu University and i got the Vasantas College OF Womens with B .COM [HONS] I coud not make it because of my orefrence of CS and my financial unstability . In my college you can fill form online and even can make the offline admisssion , the admission rocess is short you just have to fill the exam for and then submit it in principle room with memorandum of your last school and receipt and aadhar card , abc card etc . in my college mostly students take hindi hons as MJC and urdu because of the muslim locality ....Read More
