Apart from fashion design If you are looking for any other course alternative , so you should definitely go for the footwear one , as it's more recognized .The overall course structure was informative and well balanced. The faculty was really helping. Hence my 4 year experience was great as I expected it to be.
Entrance Preview
They have their own entrance examination. No there was no interview procedure at the time I opted for this course. I did it because I love designing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for b.des fashion design . So it's all about practical learning , hence it was good I will rate it 7/10, because the exposure like visits and all was not that good .
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provided internships to the students . The experience was good as we got to know about how to work in an industry. In our case there was no stipend as such.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario was good. Everyone who applied got placed . Major companies were Bata, Reliance,etc. As starting an average salary offered was around 18k/month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was affordable but being a government institute the fee structure was high , when it's compared to private institutions they both have the same fee structure .
Faculty
Some of them were really qualified . All of them were interesting. They had thorough knowledge about the course. The standard of teaching was good over there.
