I liked the students from different parts of west Bengal, their culture, every people is good at something or other other than studies, Friendly nature of faculties, Different management fest and activities, group activities and project work

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum & faculty members are good & supportive. The faculty-student ratio is 15:100. Industry experts & PPT and One to one and one-to-many interaction basis. 2 mid semester before 1st sememster and same process till 4th semester. The exam is moderate.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 640000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike policy is there. There are exam fees, different management fest activity fees collected by students, and different other internal college program fees collected by students. Not got any scholarship or financial assistance & I got a job with Collegedunia as a business development manager in a marketing role with a package of 5 lakh. ( 4.5 fixed and 50k variable)

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is SRIJAN & INNOVATION, Books and Journals are available. Projector Monitor, A.C., Chair, and study bench are there. Volleyball courts, Tennis courts, Cricket, Football, etc. are available. CSR Club, Finance Club, and Art and Culture Club are the clubs there.

Admission

CAT, JMAT entrance exam score, Case study submission, Personal interview. Application forms application fees and dates can be found on the college website, and the student can talk to an authoritative person in the college admission office. Reservation benefits are not availed. Yes, if they share the placement details and placement packages of the previous batch.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies visited - TCS, WIPRO, MICROSOFT, TATA, IBM , AMAZON etc. 51,00,000/yr highest package and average package 5,50,000 as per company and profiles offered. 97% students are getting placements. My plans start a business after getting the degree.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the fifth term. 300+ companies visit the campus to recruit 500 students. The highest package is 70LPA and the Average package is 20LPA. 100% placements. after getting the degree students will join the recruited companies.

Most unfiltered review of IEM college .

Well other than that I definitely put Techno Main , Heritage Institute of Technology, Jalpaiguri Government, kalyani Government and Haldia Institute of Technology too . But the rank didn't allow me to get my desired branch that is CSE in kalyani and jalpaiguri, so I had to close from the private ones and if you have to pick the best one in Kolkata which was also not far waya from my hometown , definitely you choose IEM , as it definately has a good placement track record and good curriculum. Well you can get into this college through WBJEE(which they didn't took this year ) , IEMJEE and direct admission too . But direct admission requires some extra donation amounts too . So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. This college admission procedure takes 2 days 1st admission to the college it will take 6 hours. 2nd makaut registration will take next 4 to 5 hours.
