I was interested in this computer field. Computer science is a very interesting course. Now days are very important in our life and the Best career option in this field. This college's faculties are very amazing, the Professors are very educated and some most difficult exams are cracked. This college's gender ratio is 10:1.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I take admission to this college my 1st-semester fee is 1205 rupees. My 2nd-semester fee is 705 rupees. My 4th-semester fee is 385 rupees. My 5th semester fee is 705 rupees and 6th my last semester fee is 385 rupees. I have got a first-year scholarship aiykshree scholarship for 4000 rupees. This scholarship is very helpful in my college fee payment.

Campus Life

Every year the college organizes tech fest and culture fest this fest's name is Krishanatranga Fest. This fest is the best fest in West Bengal colleges. This college has a Central library available. This college has digital classrooms. Many sports grounds are available in this college. Every year they organize sports events.

Admission

I gave Jexpo Exam 2020 and after I ranked 16200 and I got counseling for the college, I got the first round of counseling college Itahar Polytechnical College, then after I upgraded by 1000 rupees, 2nd round of counseling I got this college. My first admission fee is 1205 Rupees. My total course fees Maximum of 5k. Reservation is available at this college Like OBC, ST, SC, PWD, etc.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

My JEE scores were not sufficient for me to secure a seat in CSE in any college. Although i had applied to some semi government ones like IPU in delhi and had got a seat in ECE in the main campus, i opted for this one instead keeping the fee structure in mind. Also im a native bengali so i was not willing to travel to delhi for my academics. Though i regret that decision and would not recommend anyone to settle for a college nobody has heard of when you can have a better one instead. I had been selected for NIT Agartala as well in Mechanical branch but ofc i opted for a better branch.
