Remarks
My admission was through comedk examination and got the seat through the counselling process. Cut off was 14k for CSE at the end of third round. Fees for comedk is 2.2 lakh per year. Whereas for CET students it is 70 thousand.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose computer science because of my own interest, student boy to girl ratio is well balanced in our department but it is bad in other branches like mech and civil. The teaching is well, there exists both good and bad stuff everywhere. Each semester is of 90-100 days.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come for hire to the college, some of them are even mass recruiters. So I can say that every student of CSE will get placed in some or other company by the end of the placement season. No need to worry about that.
Placement Experience
The placements are good compared to other colleges in north Karnataka, it’s the best. The highest package is 43 lpa and the average is 7 lpa. About 70% of CSE students get placed during the 7th sem and do the internship in the 8th sem
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are rising every year by somewhere around 5-10% and demand for seats is also increasing, donation seats are getting way too costly than what they used to be earlier. It has increased in the past 2-3 years.
Campus Life
Fests weren’t conducted due to Covid. Later on, due to lag in the semester, we didn’t get any opportunity to enjoy clubs and fests. Classrooms have WiFi and an electric switch on each bench. The library has a lot of books, clubs, and sports are conducted now and then.
