Miet Review Of My 2 Year Experience in campus

I chose Btech Cse with a specialization in the Internet of Things because I want to pursue my career in robotics + software development. The faculty-student ratio is good we have 1:43 approx. Most professors in my department are phd professors and some are pursuing phd and mostly are from iits and nits but some teachers have accent problems sometimes it is not understand what they are saying. We have exams 3 times 2 sessions and 1 pre University exams and sessions are kinda easy but pre University exams are moderate in difficulty

Campus Placement is good we are eligible for placement or internship after 2nd year but in some cases, the company allows 2nd-year students too for internship opportunities. Some Companies which visit campus are Microsoft, amazon, aws, tech Mahindra, tcs, cognizant, Accenture, airtel, Indian airforce etc. And gave packages around 4 to 5 lakh on average and around highest 35 to 45 lakhs and placement is somewhere around 70 to 80% and for one batch it was 100% too (heard by dean 1st year).

For btech 1st year, fees are around 1 lakhs 20 thousand which includes University registration fees, security deposit, books fees for 4 years other than this we have to pay around 8 thousand rupees for examination fees every year directly to the university portal (aktu). And from second-year fees is 1 lakh 7 thousand. We have 2 scholarship opportunities one is the UP government scholarship and the second is the central government. Other than this we have some clubs which can give us funds if we have a solid idea about any project to support that project. And we have some campus jobs too in those clubs which pay us around 3 to 4 thousand (openings are very low for recruitment).

We have one main fest named Kolahal which is organised between October to December and is of 3 days where the last day is star night and one famous singer came for the show. Other than this we have Dandiya night during Navratri and we have different hackathons too like css battleground etc. The library is good we got almost everything we need and we can issue them easily too. Other than this we have recruitment in a sports team every year after freshers join college and their class starts. Some clubs which are run by students are SATLAB, Web Development Society etc. And in each society/club, we have mentors/professors too for guidance.

The selection process was based on 12th marks and jee mains marks (if appeared) and the process was smooth and easy. Cut off was around 60+ percentile for Btech. Cse Allied branches and 75+ for core cse. But Somehow if u didn't get good marks in jee main but have good marks in 10th and 12th they will consider it too.
