Remarks
I would say that my college life was awesome. There were ups and downs up still it was worthy spending four wonderful years in this college. Faculty, Infrastructure all were good here. The standard of the students entering college improved year by year but the placements was still not good. I would say that I definitely miss my college and my college days.
Entrance Preview
I gave the UPSEE examination. It was my personal interest to chose this college and this particular course. There was no interview process for us but students coming through management quota have to give a small college test to examine their knowledge about PCM. As mentioned earlier it was my personal interest to chose so.
Course Curriculum Overview
In first year course for every branch was same. After that ECE become tough to handle. They had a big library but practical learning was all depended on the student. There was nothing on research. No incubators for startups. The other elective options available were CS, IT, EEE, Mechanical, Civil and Applied Sciences
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they provided the internship in the final year but the ratio was very less. There were companies like Hero, Infosys etc that came into campus for interns. Mostly students took off campus internships for getting proper field experiences. The average stipend is about 7-8k per month but everything was depended upon the students capabilities.
Placement Experience
Placement in the college is pretty good. About 60% students got on campus job letter. The major companies were L&T, Infotech, HCL, iBM, TCS and many other. There were many core companies that come to the college. Average package is around 3-4 lakh but many students got off campus placement with a package around 6-7 lakh per annum.
College Events
More than 3 events in each section happen ever year. The technical and cultural fests organised are of less budget. The 3 day fest 'Festin-o-Beats' happens every year. It includes technical events, dance, music and various sports event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees was very high compared to other UPTU colleges. They took 1.4 lakhs in the first year including the development various other charges. Although all the infrastructure was air conditioned including the classes, hostel rooms, labs etc and even the other facilities were good but for the medium class it was an expensive college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there are no scholarships available as far as I know. Neither there are any loan facilities available.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities were negligible. It was on students if they want to take part or play by themselves. No enhancement of inner talent was there.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't choose the hostel. The hostel were fully air conditioned and also had wifi. There were 2 bed sharing, 3 bed sharing, 4 bed sharing rooms and fees was also according to that. The hostel fees was between 90-95k depending upon the students in the room. It included the mess, laundry and extra charges. I have no idea about the food.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni were connected to us through various social media platforms. We usually got updates on Facebook regarding the new advancement in technologies. They shared the study materials and helped us in various difficult situations like we try to do now.
Exam Structure
The exams culture was chilled in the college. The semester was divided into 2 set of examination- mid sem and finals both of 100 marks. There were internal and external lab assessments also. Only externals were a little difficult.
Faculty
The faculties were very supportive as well as highly qualified. Almost every other faculty has completed their masters or doctorate. We could easily approach them for any queries. The method of delivering the lecture in the class was very good. I think faculties of every department was like mine. They were helpful caring.
