Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course primarily to get an overview of how businesses work. The faculty-to-student ratio for the department of management studies is 1:30. There are around 20 faculty for 600 students and half of the faculty are PhD holders. Around 10-12 faculty were great and so supportive and helpful to students but some of the newly joined faculty are terrible and just do not know how to treat students. The teaching method is mostly lecture-based. It's not at all difficult to pass the exams. Since the faculty who teaches the subject is going to correct the paper as well, they always try to award passing marks for each and every student. All you need to do is fill the answer booklet with whatever you like if you aim for just passing marks. In order to get more than 9cgpa you have to work a bit.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the 2020-2023 batch, the fee structure is 100000 per annum. You can visit the college website to get detailed information about the current fee structure. There are two ways in which you can get scholarships. The first way is based on your class 12th marks and the second way is based on your end-semester exams performance.
Campus Life
For the management department, there are 2 annual fests. UDBAV is a one-day national-level management fest(usually conducted in the month of December) and KAIZEN fest is a cultural fest(usually conducted in the month of February). There is a library and you can get textbooks from the library. The amenities in the classroom are strictly below average as far as management department classrooms are concerned. There are smart boards in every class but they hardly work. Sports fest will be organized every year. Also, there are numerous student clubs that you can be part of.
Admission
There is no entrance exam for getting into the BBA course. If you score more than 60 percent in your 12th, you are eligible to apply. You can go to the college website and apply. The application fee is 1000. Everyone who applies will get admitted.
