THA fulfilled my dream of how college life should be.

Since my childhood, I have always been fascinated with computers. As I grew up I developed my interest in computer programming and I wanted to sharpen my skills and pursue a course that would suit best my interest hence BCA seemed the best option for me. The faculty: student ratio was 1:60, that is, a class of 60 students was taught by 1 teacher per subject. During major and minor projects it was 1:5, meaning a group of 5 people had one student guide. The faculty members are friendly and helpful and each has a unique teaching style that would make anyone grow interest quickly in the subjects. They are well knowledgeable about the subjects they teach and well qualified, mostly like m.tech and some have PhD degrees as well. Exams consist of 4 continuous assessments or CA that will be conducted every month according to the university guidelines. Semester exams were held every 6 months. Both CAs and Semester exams were moderately difficult.

Internship training is done along with certificates in the second year. Some teaching associations offer project and internship opportunities, but the training is paid. The training helps in minor and major projects and for the CV. Paid internships are not really given by the college, though the faculties and seniors may help if someone is really interested.

The placement cell of THA is really good. Almost 90% per cent of the students get placed in top companies like Deloitte, EY, LTIMindtree etc. The package offered is decent with respect to a Bachelor's degree, which is around 3-3.5 lpa. The highest package for the 2023 batch was 4.5 lpa. Some companies even offer an M.tech study plan along with the job which is a huge benefit.

The Admission fee along with first semester fees is around Rs.78000. This is applicable only in the first semester after admission. The Second Semester onwards the fee is Rs. 52000, payable every 6 months. There is no exclusive scholarship provided by the college. You can mail the college admin if you avail of any government scholarships, which may need some time to be approved. The placement cell is pretty well. Almost 90% of the students get on-campus jobs. The rest opt for higher studies.

The Heritage Campus is one of the most refreshing things you have. It is an anti-ragging campus with free Wifi facilities, huge playgrounds, girl's hostel etc. The library is one of the best places to get resources for your assignments, with thousands of books to help. The canteen is really cheap and honestly has the best food. It also has a Cheap Store for printing or Xerox.

In order to get admission in the BCA course, you need to give the CET Makaut exam after you have passed class 12 board exam. You can check the eligibility criteras, dates by searching CET Makaut portal. After you have given the CET exam and the scores are out, you need to apply in the college portal. Your CET rank along with your class 10 and 12 marksheet needs to be submitted. After evaluation, the college admin will appoint an interview with the Principal of the college. You will have a personal interview where you will be asked some basic questions like why are you opting for the course and your interests. After the entire procedure, if you are selected, the college will notify you via the registered mail or SMS.
