If the fees would have come down little it would have been great. The facilities and infrastructure is really good but still according to the fees they can do better by inviting more MNCs for campus placement.
Entrance Preview
the entrance exam which is given to get admission here is MPPET. And the score required is 60 above in 200. Once the online allotment is done, there is no interview, direct admission. The decision of doing engineering lead me to take admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course i chose was information technology, and it was quite good. As per the curriculum there is less practical learning, not the college's fault but obviously the university's. There were many research initiatives taken by the college such as robotics club, android club, BAJA car prototype etc. The college is also collaborated with 4 IITs. The elective subjects are Mechanical, Electrical communication, Electrical and electronics, Computer science, computer engineering chemical and information technology.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not provide any kind of internship. The students have to go out and find a firm on his own during the third year of engineering for 1 month internship. Very few students earn stipend, most of the times student have to pay fees to the organisation to get internship.
Placement Experience
there are placements in the college, as the college is having good infrastructure the college conducts open campus too. At the beginning some big mncs like TCS, Genpact and capital via comes. After that BPOs and advisory firms pick the rest of the students. The highest package is 3.5 pa and the average package was 2-1.8 pa.
College Events
Many events take place, technical as well as non technical. There is a lot of opportunities to go ahead in sports. The college really promotes players. In fact the college also organised sports events for other schools in the college campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is not affordable for a middle class family. The education there is expensive compared to the other colleges at Indore. the fees per year during my time was 84,000. But bank loans are available for the same.
Hostel Facilities
i used to be a day scholar. But yes there is hostel facility in the campus itself.
Exam Structure
In a semester there are 3 mid semester exams of 20 marks and 1 final semester exam. one semester also includes 1 internal and 1 external viva.
Faculty
The faculties are qualified but most of them are not well experienced .They have good knowledge in the respective subject but as the age gap between students and teachers are less so they mingle too much. the classes are interactive.The standard of teaching is moderate.
