Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is old, only a few new subjects are introduced, but the majority is the old syllabus. Most of the Faculty in my branch are good and supportive. There should not be much concern about attendance, only a few raised faculty are well educated and qualified in their respective field, Most of them are old and have very good experience and have a good grasp on their subjects. Talking about exam there is 2 mid sem conducted in 2 months after a 1-month gap, which is relatively easy, students who study for 2 days can easily secure good Marks. Also, there is an end sem exam that carried the half weight of the total subject marks which is conducted after a 1-month mid sem 2 exam students need to do serious study for 1 week and they can easily secure good marks greater than 7.5 CGPA.
Placement Experience
Placement is good, from the third year few companies come for an internship, and some of them got intern, but most of them don't get it. But in placements more no. Of companies visit to campus, almost all of them are placed. Highest package - 20 LPA. Avg Package - 7 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are 127000 fees for 1 year, hostel and mess Fee not included, hostel fee = is 25000 for 1 year, mess Fee = is 18000 for 6 months. There is no hike in fees, every fees remain the same. Up govt scholarship is provided everyone can get above 50k from that. There is a good No. Of campus placement in my college, Almost everyone got placed who sir in their placement, in my branch placement is almost 100% and the average package lying around 7LPA.
Campus Life
There is 2 to 3 fest conducted Every year. Aadhyaay, Technika, Aarambh. There is not any particular month to decide on depending on the exams they schedule accordingly. There is a library in my college in which almost all the course-related books are available. There is not any good facility for sports-related activities, only in some hostels, it is available.
Admission
Admission to HBTU is based on Jee mains exam, the eligibility is that student should be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh/Jammu and Kashmir. Also, he has secured more than 60% in 10th and 12th. For admission to HBTU, they have a separate website for counseling (HBTU.admission.nic.in). in which students do their counseling and the application fees in my time were 1000 (nonrefundable), this time you can check on the website, Also, the Dates are parallel with jossa counseling, and in HBTU counseling there are total 3 rounds and 2 special rounds (if required) for seats in 13 branches.
