Protected and secured environment for technical learning.

I have had very good experience. Moreover it is a very secured environment where there is no room for distractions. It is very very apt and decent college for girls.

I wrote ugcet. I did not secure good rank. I did not have any hope of getting into engineering. Finally I got into electronics and instrumentation branch in gsss college which is a sub branch of electronics and communication. I heard that it has good scope outside India as well. So finally got into it and started off fulfilling of my moms dream. Later on as the course progressed I started developing passion towards instruments and started enjoying the learning process.There was no interview process as such but there was a well organized document verification and admission procedure. Lunch was also arranged for parents and students on that day.

It is definitely a good course. It has focus on robotics in final year which is the future of technology!!. Many workshops and hands on training will be arranged which gives u a glance at current industry. Every working Saturday technical talk will be arranged where a resource person is called to talk about the latest technology around. Elective options which I chose and preferable are biomedical digital signal processing(6th sem). Aeronautical instrumentation,robotics(7th sem)

No internship till now Personally. But my friends got permission from college and did it in beml. I am not sure of stipend.

Placement scenario is good. It is very good for branches like cse and ise. Placement is still in progress. I am not sure of exact figures and average package. The highest package is offered by VMware(10 lacs)

Geethayana is a big event organized annually. All kind of intercollege technical, sports, fun competitions are organized. It provides students to work as student coordinators which helps one to explore their leadership skills.This event provides various platforms to showcase ones talent. Organization of events are good. College authority provides complete support to the event. Very tasty food will be arranged on the day of event where menu is let to be designed by students.

College fees is definitely less compared to all other colleges in Mysore. 13250(college fee)+42250(cet fee)+8500(bus fee-any point from Mysore same fee)

Many scholarship facilities are provided. I personaly have not got any. But many of my friends have benefitted from the offered facility. Even poor meritorious brahmin students are offered scholarship which is a great thing.

They provide full support for intercollegiate activities. They provide full financial support. It helps students to get the required exposure. They encourage us to take part in intercollege competitions. I have presented a paper in jnnce shimoga. I have participated in line follower robot competition in 2 colleges. It has helped to learn many new things apart from academics.

No I dint live in hostel. Rooms are good as far as I know. Yes sharing. Fees I am not sure. Food is good.

Alumnis were called for mock interview where they shared their experience and guided us. They guided and gave good tips.

The college timings is from 9 to 4 30. Labs are weekly once. Labs doesn't make us to feel tired. In fact I was enjoying it. Labs are where you get to check the things practically which you learn theoretically.

Teachers are highly supportive and motivating. They are highly qualified.In our own department we have the professors pursuing PhD. Hod sir who has already achieved is like a encyclopedia with big bundle of knowledge. All lecturers are highly talented and always ready to help students.
