I wrote CET(common entrance test) and based on my rankning in CET and my comfort I landed up in GSSSIETW. NO interview process was conducted. I chose EIE becuase it is a multi disciplinary stream and covers subjects from various branches.

I feel EIE course is a good option to consider. The focus on practical learning is moderate. There is a robotics lab available, which is exclusively meant for research purposes based on robotics. As I have mentioned earlier that it is a multi disciplinary stream the electives are also available which are based on subjects from different branches such as mechatronics, Operating System, Biomedical processing, Robotics and Control etc...

No internship was provided by the college. But our college provides permission to attend internships if we get one.

The placement is quite good. I am not aware of the percentage of placement. Some major companies which visited our college are VMware, Schneider Electric, Sonata, IBM, Thought Works etc...

There are more than 5 technical fests organized in our college campus to mention, one is the national symposium.

Since our college is not a autonomous body, the fee structure is comparatively high. Under GM category the total cost is 58460 rupees only (The fee structure for all students from 2015 batch onwards follow different fee structure which is slightly higher).

Yes our college provides scholarships for meritorious students and also an extra library card for them.

There are is no time allotment for extracurricular activities. But our college organizes sports day, and also hosts intercollegiate matches. There is only one faculty available for physical education department.

I am a day scholar. But the hostel rooms are very much clean. There are both single rooms and sharing rooms(3 students in one room) available. Single rooms costs bit higher compared to sharing rooms.

My interaction with our alumni is poor. There is no platform for student alumni interaction.

The exams makes me feel tired but the labs are quite enjoyable to learn.

The faculty in our department is good in terms of qualification and experience. Most of the faculty members are very much interactive and responds all our problems and there is a counselling held after every internals, where they give some guidance on studies or any problems discussed by students with their respective counsellors and all these are documented. The standard of teaching is moderate to be general( though some of them teach magnificently).
