Course Curriculum Overview

4

This course provides excellent opportunities in the future as the field of semiconductors and electronics is making a boom in the industry. 60 students per 1 teacher, in other words, no shortage of faculty. Qualification and teaching methods are at par, all teachers I have encountered so far are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. There are a total of 2 exams per semester, and it's not that difficult to pass if you study hard.

Internships Opportunities

5

Microsoft, Technobook and other major institutes and companies collab and offer internships here. The average stipend is again variable here: ranging from none to 10k to 40k also. Don't recall any projects as of now, but from what I've heard, lots of internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

5

Students get the chance of campus placements after completing their 3rd year. Lots of big as well as mass recruiting companies make their way here annually. Companies such as Microsoft, Amazon and mass recruiters like Vipro, TCS, and majorly everyone gets recruited in one way or another. The average package is 7-8 LPA, but the highest went 1.7 Cr for 3 students. 99% of students get placed annually. Will either look for a well-paying job or pursue further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not much affected by the fee hike policy, the course fees are somewhat understandable and affordable as per the current economy of 2023. Didn't opt for any scholarship, financial assistance & job within the campus as of now.

Campus Life

2.5

The annual tech fest is Avensis which features famous celebrities, lots of creative events and many recreational activities. Date somewhat remains variable. The library is well facilitated with a lot of books. Didn't face many problems during my few months in the library, but let's see what happens in the future. The classrooms require some improvement, during the summers, some classes lack Air conditioners which makes studying less efficient, like in the hot month of June, both for the faculty and the students. Sports facilities are adequate, but the sports team is filled with professional players no doubt. Lots of extracurricular activities take place on campus from time to time. There are many, such as Prakriti, IEE, and GDSC groups in the college.

Admission

Admission to this college for the field of Technology is based on the JEE result cutoffs and JACK counselling. The application form, fees and dates can be accessed from the college's official site itself. Got a reservation from the Delhi quota (85% criteria). Not much, 2022's admission process got delayed due to the past COVID incident however years before the covid, everything went smoothly.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
