Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course due to the increasing demand for cloud technology and the jobs that are vacant. So there is a very good scope in this and a good career and salary growth. The student-faculty ratio is around 1 teacher for every 30-35 students in my department. All the teachers in the university are Ph.D. holders and have great experience in teaching.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have any internship experience till now college provides internship opportunities. But the required skills are needed. I have made many projects related to cloud computing, blockchain, AI, and cybersecurity tools.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placement or recruitment drives. Many companies visited our university every year. Top companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, byjus, Uber, etc. visit every year and many many offers for the student. The highest package offered in my university is 45LPA and one of the students got selected for this package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy at Poornima University is increase by 10,000 every year. The detailed fee structure is Tuition Fees of 1,20,000. Development Fees 45,000 Administrative Fees 10,000 Caution Money 5,000 Hostel fee - 10,000 /month Transport Fees - 40,000 I have a scholarship of 50% of the tuition fee. No financial assistance was provided in my case. There is no job provided to the student on the campus.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in the month of March. The fest is known as "LAKSHYA". It is a 3day sports and cultural event and a DJ night each day Our university also conducts tech fests hackathons contests in the middle of the semester. All the books needed for a student are available, magazines, comics poetry books, literature books, etc. Are always available in the library. The classrooms are very clean and spacious and ventilated. There are many sports activities and sports events are conducted in the campus. Extra curricular activities like contests, cultural events, tech events fests are also conducted.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech course is the student has to score at least 50% or above marks to get into Poornima University. If the student has more than 70% grades in his 12th boards he/she will able to get a scholarship. The admission form is available at the Poornima University website www.poornima.edu.in or you can collect it from the admission office itself. The fee for the application form is around 1200/- INR in 2022. There are no reservation benefits provided by the university. I observed that the admission counselor has less about the courses thought at University.
