Course Curriculum Overview
First things first I didn't choose the mechanical course willingly since I got the seat in a good named college I didn't think about the course and I joined that course. But later on, I was studying I got a lot of interest in the subjects and practical labs. The faculty here are very good and they made learning interesting. Some of the faculty members have a doctorate for their research work and all the faculty members are still doing their research work. They would teach us in a classroom yet if we had any difficulty they would take us to the labs and explained us briefly. The examinations are conducted every two months, medium difficulty levels papers are given which can be passed if we study.
Placement Experience
Our college students are eligible for the campus placement from the 6th semester itself. From the beginning of the 6th semester training for placements is given to students and various reputable companies like TATA, HYUNDAI, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, JPMC, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS, KIA, ACCENTURE, WIPRO and many more visit our college. Our college T&P tries to get every student placed and our highest package is 44lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for a college like ours is reasonable, it is the top 3 colleges in our state. The fee was around 1.5 lakh but for the infrastructure, labs facilities and all they provided the fee is reasonable. Many of the students opt for scholarships too, but since I didn't get any good rank I wasn't eligible for the scholarship program. Our college average salary package is around 6lakhs when taking all the courses into consideration. I was placed in TCS digital with a package of 7 lakhs.
Campus Life
Life at our campus is what every engineer wants. With great infrastructure, our classroom has amenities like a projector, lights, fans, desks, wifi connection and proper ventilation. There are two fests conducted in an academic year one is a tech fest which is convergence and the other is cultural Fest sinti. Our college gives equal importance to both academics and extra curriculum and sports. Our college basketball team is one the best teams in our state and there are many cultural clubs which equally encourage the extra talents of students.
Admission
Firstly there will be an exam that every individual need to give if they are willing to do an engineering course, I gave my exam and got a rank, and then I searched for the colleges which I can get into based on my rank. I shortlisted the colleges I wanted to get into and through the counselling process, I opted for the courses and colleges I need. As for the first-time counseling process I couldn't get into any college then I changed my options and tried many other colleges and that's how I get into the college.
