It is drowning me when i was in a idea to fulfill my passion and desire.

The college need to improve a lot in all the aspects. It should concentrate more on student's future. It should provide better infrastructure for students. It should take care of the food being provided for the hostel students. They won't even provide Wi-Fi for us and equipment for doing labs is also not to that extent and need to improve a lot. I thought it will act as a catalyst to fulfill my ambition. but never did it act.

The entrance exam i wrote is PG-CET. It is an entrance exam in Karnataka for the local people. I attended this exam and got the qualifying mark to enter into the college. There is no interview process and counseling process but there is a basic process involved for the selection of streams.I chose the course that i am interested in.

The course i chose is Computer and Science Engineering. As i am passionate from my childhood i chose this course. It focuses less on Practical Learning but i learnt separately all the technologies that i am interested in. There are research initiatives taken by our college but compared to other colleges it is less in number.

The college do not provide any internships and don't even encourage us to do any internships. It leads to lot of discouragement when we apply for the outside corporate companies as they don't even consider us.I didn't do any internship and none of my friends also have did it. There is no stipend amount also as none of them did any.

The placement scenario did not reach my expectations and it was just average. The percentage of the students getting placed is decreasing year by year. By the time i graduated itself it decreased a lot. I don't know how my juniors are going to be placed. Very few companies come to our college for taking placement.The average package is also one to two lakhs per year.

The fee structure is affordable compared to many other colleges in our surroundings. Generally all the students pay thirty five to forty thousand per year. As i am from OBC category i got some scholarship and paid some six thousand rupees less. The fees depends upon the reservation category. There will be less fees for less categories pr castes.

The faculty is good. They are qualified and experienced. They approach us in a very positive way and motivate us in each and every aspect possible. They are interactive and interact well with the students of their mother tongue as they show some partiality to them. The standard of teaching is also good and they teach us not only theoretically but also practically.
