Remarks

Infrastructure is not so big. But ok. We wish we had some good canteen but we don't. But it's all good as I say.

Entrance Preview

We took the local entrance exam named as Post Graduate Common Entrance exam. We were selected based on our ranks, so no interview was taken.

We have pretty good teaching faculty, some are sort of amateurs but I guess every college has that kind of stadf

Usually we have to struggle for internships. Not everyone will go but a very few amount of students are given the opportunity of internships though college

For engineering we have good placements. For masters not that much. IT placements are better than the other branches. With companies like TCS, IBM, Accenture and many others. All offered a steady packages about 25k per month

College Events

We have a college fest during the month of March or April. It's a pretty large even with lot of sponsors. Large events and performance by some good artists. People from other colleges are allowed to visit too. And due to that the attendance will be in 4 figures.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is pretty much affordable. Every college have a fixed government fee that was about 54000rs.l, plus we have building fund i.e about 10800rs

That helps us all. Lot of scholarships for every cast or so.

Every year we have some branch events were we can take part in competitions for technical as well as fun things.

Hostel Facilities

I never choose hostel, but I have some friends over there. Depending on our choice we can choose what we need, like if you want single room or want to share with other. Price depends on our choice. And food was complaining, many had problems with food

Alumni/Alumna

We have a huge alumni history. The current CEO and founder of Infosys is from our college as well. Plus there will be usually alumni meet ups across the world

Exam Structure

With every month tests and frequent lab exams, it pretty busy. But at the end it will help as during finals

Faculty

Including many doctorate professors and some who completed their masters. They all have some good years of experience with good subject knowledge. They all are friendly and helps personally to help us out

A good start for career growth

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placement Experience:

Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

Honest review of The national institute of engineering

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
