Life at 'C.K PITHAWALA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY'

This college is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU). So the syllabus and curriculum are decided by gtu. All the faculties in this college are PhD graduates from top IITs and NITs and some of them are pursuing the PhD degree right now and most of them have teaching experience of 10-15 years. There is a good teaching environment in this college and there is 2-3 professor for every subject for a class strength of 60 students. In every semester 2 midterms exams are taken by the college of moderate level and one end-semester exam is conducted by the University.

The only thing that I found not better is my college's internship opportunities. They offer internship opportunities only in 4th year and to some top students of the class. Every year they offer internships in TOPs technologies, Torrent power, Adani port, and L&T limited to some top students of the class only. If you are not the topper of the class, you have to find your internship on your way.

Our college has a good placement record. The students who studied well throughout their 4 years of engineering and maintained a good CGPA (above 7.5) have highly chanced to get on campus placement. Our top recruiters are BYJU'S, and L&T Limited. , TORRENT POWER, TCS, ADANI, SUN PHARMA, etc.

Fees for different courses are different in this college. For the computer engineering course, you have to pay 84000 per year (42000 per semester) which does not include the hostel and transportation fees. Hostel fees are 25000 per year including mess. Different types of scholarships are also given for economically weaker students like MYSY, Digital Gujarat, SC ST Scholarship, etc.

Our college has an excellent campus environment. Our college has 8 buildings of various departments like computer, mechanical, civil, IT, Electronic and communication, pharmacy, etc. and each building is of 2 floors plus one administrative building. We have a sports complex, auditorium hall, canteen, library, cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court, etc. in college for extracurricular activities. Various events have been organized by the college every year like Tech Fest, Cultural Fest, annual day for the students. We have various clubs like coding club, sports club, gaming club, and events organizing club which is run by the senior students of 3rd and 4th years.

You must have passed the 12th(science) board exam with a minimum of 50% and must appear for the GUJCET exam. After the completion of the examination process, you have to fill out the online form on the website of acpc. You can find the necessary dates on the website. Every year admission process starts in the month of June and lasts till August. After the submission of the online application, a merit list will be declared on the basis of your marks in the 12th boards and the GUJCET exam. After that, you have to fill out college and course choices on the basis of your merit rank. If your rank is under the cutoff of your course you will get admission.
