Best College for Graduation in Pass Courses

Overall college is good, I experience a whole new world for 3 years and learn so many things weather it is related to the personal life or my professional life.But I want to Highlight few points where college should work on : 1. Proper control on non-teaching staff. 2. Renovate college canteen. 3. Proper communication between the management. 4. Discipline among the students.

There was cut off merit selection process at the time of admission. I heard a lot about Wilfred' College from my peers. No there was no Interview process at all only merit basis selection. Since I was a commerce student so I thought B.com will be good for me to start on from the graduation level rather go for BBA or any professional course.

As B.com is just only a pass course not an professional course so the main focus was on practical subjects and theories. And for me B.com was a good option because after graduation I have so many options to move on weather in Jobs or in Higher studies. No during my tenure of 3 years college did not take any initiatives in any research they mainly focus on the cultural events.

No college did not provide any internships. As B.com is not an professional course just a pass course and which fully governed by the University, So this is the main reason why college did not provide any internship.

Placement scenario was good as I was the student of commerce background so I can share my views on only commerce department. Around 70-80 percent of students got selected and the major companies were Genpact, Teleperformance, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank and the average package was around Rs. 1.5 lac.

College is very good in Cultural events and in every alternative month there was some events and workshops held in the college campus and it was on a large scale around 2500 students used to gather in the events. All the contributions done by college only for the respected events weather it is freshers party, Annual Functions, Farewell party or any other events.

Yes college provide scholarships and I also one scholarship at the time of admission because college provide special scholarships for the students who scored 60+ percent in the last qualifying exams, they provide 10 percent scholarship of tuition fee and I also got the same.

College is best in the extracurricular activities because every year college held inter college tournaments where every student get ample opportunities to explore their inner talent like sports, singing, dancing etc and except that many stage shows were also held in the college.

No I was not in hostel and I don't know much about the Hostel Rooms. There were sharing rooms and College have separate PGs for both boys and girls. For a month the rent was something around 3000-5000 depending on the facilities you choose. Food was also good.

Alumni interaction was good but college did not provide any proper platform for student-alumni interaction. No alumni did not contribute any thing in the overall development except used to come in every event and shows of the college and meet with the students and faculties.

Yes, they makes me feel tired at the end of the day, because the college schedule were very hectic.

Most of the faculties was Phd and some are the fresher ones who joined the college for taking experience in the teaching line. The faculties were very interactive and there way of teaching was also good. When it comes to standard of teaching there were departments of every stream and branch in the college and for every department there is an HOD who is responsible for their respective branch, and every branch faculties give there best in their teaching and content.
