- Classroom are quite impressive, they have the amenities a good class asks for, very convenient.
- The washrooms, they are always clean and hygiene is maintained, no doubt about cleanliness in bms campus.
- Placements are also quite good for cse and ise branches in bms, the minimun range for beginners is 7 to 8lpa
Dislikes
- The campus being very small for the huge crowd, it can be made a little bigger.
- Library, although it has all the requirements, but the area is too small for the huge bms population
- The can be better canteens and another book shop for convenience in the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying in the department of CSE with IoT and cybersecurity, I always wanted to get into IT related field and as per my kcet rank, this was the most relevant one I could choose. The faculty is pretty decent and chill, they are all very well qualified and a few IIT graduates as well. Student ratio is 6:4, there is slightly more boys' strength. Teachers are all mixed, few very good, few average .teaching methodology is quite the same for all, ppts and class notes. The first semester got delayed almost by 2 months, it was quite a task. Term exams are once in 3 to 3.5 months. It is not that tough to pass, any average student can score decent passing marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for kcet students are 91,796 and it varies for other categories. Scholarships for general merits students are very less as compared to others, none as of now. Campus jobs are average is what I have heard, bms being a reputed college might fetch good campus drives in the future as well. I haven't got any scholarship as of this day.
Campus Life
The annual fest in bmsce is Utsav, it happens in the month of May, and it's fun. faculty all come along to make it a success. The library is small as compared to the college population, but the availability of books n things is good. Classrooms have bms are so far the best ambience, they are all centralized ac, big enough, with projectors, Mike and cleanliness maintained.
Admission
I got in through kcet exam, after the results we have 3 rounds of concealing, followed by a verification process and then admission. All forms and details we revealed on the kcet website for verification, for college admission, we had to visit the college for further details. As I belong to the general merit category there were no reservation benefits open for me except for 371J. The admission process was quite smooth enough, with no problems as such. It is all computer-based and the students only enter the details.
