- Rude behaviour of professors and staff I'd what everyone is fed off.
- Some of the officers at the office are like typical sarkari Babu so there is a lot of delay in fee remission
- The college has no nearby developed Airport so that affects a bit of placement
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is decided into many branches like CSE, ECE, EE, ME, CE, Metallurgy, Production, Electronic and computational mechanics. The faculties are well qualified, all are PhD from Either top IITs or foreign universities but there teaching style is not loved by students at all. At the end you need to. Study from online coachings and YouTube for conceptual clarity
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are increasing at a very faster rate. Last there were about 10-15 offers for 3rd year student and 50-60 offers for final years per branch but this year it has increased drastically to 20-25 to third years and more than 75 to final years
Placement Experience
Placement are decent in this college. As it is an NIT so obviously many top and big brands alongs with startups visit the campus and this year placement percentage is more than 98%. The average package is more than 15lpa so it's just improving day by day. The only concern is the decreaseing NIRF ranking of the institute but it has made not impact on placement and internship. That's a very good thing.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is as usual of the Other NITs which is around 2 laks per year. But if you family income is less than 5 laks per year the you get 2/3rd remission of tution fees And if family income is less than 1 lakh per annum the Full remission in tution fees. There are a lot of other scholarships like , Tata Cummins, BPCL medavi , ekalyan, state scholarship, FFE, and lot more
Campus Life
Campus Life is very joyful and chill here, just you need to study hard during exams. Many branch fest like Technica, cognitio take place every year, along with annual techno management fest OJASS, and Culture fest CULTFEST takes place every year with full enjoyment and learning. There are my technical, cultural and softskill team present in the campus for extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and mess quality is superb and one of the best I have to say as compared to other colleges of central government. There are dedicated boys and girls hostel separate. Boys get single room from 2nd yr itself and there is another 2 hostel being made with 120 crore has begun this year bu education minister of India.
Admission
Entrance is based on the Rank in JEE mains exams . People give this exam after 12th from PCM background. Application form is available at Josaa porta and is conducted by NTA and IITs combined. Reservation are there as per rule for EWS, OBC , ST, SC etc. The paper pattern is believed to be one of the toughest and finest exams of this country.
