- I likes the crowd and faculty of our college
- The hostels from what iv heard from my friends has a very good mess
- There are sports opportunities and frequently organised sports tournaments
Dislikes
- The multipurpose court for basketball badminton is kind of bad since we don't get free court for practice
- The canteen food is sometimes less satisfactory
- Some faculties might speak in kannada (which is very rear) but when they do they translate as well if you ask
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very feasible and the timetable is very good. we get enough time for studying and the classes are from 8-1 though it depends if you have extra classes, every day has a different time. the faculty is very good and helpful they all talk in English so it won't be very hard for a North Indian or a non-kannay to understand the subject.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internship opportunities big companies like Tesla etc come for internships and the students can sit for internships in the 4th semester I believe. the stipend offered is high and is overall a good offer.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placements from the 4th semester the companies visiting the campus are high in no. The highest package for last year's batch wnt to around 40 lpa from EEE, almost all the students get placed and others might go for higher studies as well my plan after getting the degree is to do a master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for core branches in my college is less due to them being an aided branch it's 58k per year ( I mentioned 120000 before but that's for 2 years), scholarship is provided for categories apart from general and it also depends on how much is your parent's yearly salary.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good and there are many clubs you can be a part of it really gives you a high range of opportunities to discover your talents and be a part of a vast variety of activities there are clubs like IEEE which really opens up a lot of doors of opportunities for the students.
Admission
I took the Karnataka crt exam and the cutoff for my course was 15k rank or less my rank was 10k which was based on both my kcet marks (98marks) and the board marks for PCM only, both combined got my rank to 10K the application process was online and there were 3 rounds, I got my college and branch in the first round.
