I liked my faculties and their supportive nature towards their students.
Most of us come from a below middle class family but that doesn't affect our studies
Our college has a beautiful premises and greenery surrounding

Dislikes

Furniture are not that good and some of them are broken and rusted
Our college dont have any proper toilet facility in old building but provided in new building
There is a bit politics in our college external interfere are often occurring

I wanted to pursue political science as I am an IAS aspirant and this is the only well-recognized college in my locality. faculties are good enough to encourage and suffice our education. Our college is in between a beautiful greeny environment although our college keeps on expanding but keeping the environment in their mind. Our infrastructure is quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I have already told you our college is a govt college and being a govt college its education fee is quite affordable for everyone. People might consider it as low fees low income but no, these teachers are govt salaried so they focus on our education rather than our fees.

Yes, our college does get an annual fest as we have our own college grounds all major functions and fests are held there so our students are welcomed there. Our college does have sports and extra activities. You will be invited or get informed about it.

Admission

I entered this university through Sams Odisha and I applied for a bachelor's degree in arts stream. I was desperate to join this institution since my childhood days. it is a very well-known institution since the 1800s. it is one of the oldest universities in my locality. There's a spot and online application.

My college experiences

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love literature and want to become a writer in the future. For this reason I chose arts stream and studied English literature. The curriculum fully supports the students to excel in their careers both in academic line as well as public servant jobs. From writing CV to application, Resume, and even to face interviews, this course prepared me for upcoming big events in my career. My soft skills developed especially after i joined this course and University. In every six months a semester is conducted by the University, it does not bias on markings, as the paper is checked outside the University. The difficulty level of these exams is moderate to hard.

I'm doing masters in english and my course is very good if you are interested in literature. If you are a literature enthusiast then my course tends to provide you with vast knowledge about the history of english literature and british literature, european literature etc. But the only drawback is it doesn't provide placements or many job opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Historical distribution is quite good in my curriculum which widens my scope of learning for further exams. The curriculum definitely prepares me for real world applications with its evergreen content. However, some creative aspects can be added in the curriculum. Exams happen at regular intervals and the difficulty level is moderate.

Remarks:

Yes, my college was most of positive side. I had some good experience with good teachers and some with some bad teachers. But overall it was a good experience. i would recommend every one if you want to join. do it.

Genuine reviews helps for a better change

The admission is done through SAMS portal. You have to create an account in SAMS and then apply for +3 admission. You have to select atleast 5 colleges according to your priority list. There are different phases of admission, so if you get admission in the 2nd college you have choosen you can get, there's chance of getting choosen in the first college in next phases. The application fees is to be submitted online through the SAMS portal and have to pay in offline mode next year onwards. Application dates will be displayed in the SAMS webpage. Cut off is usually changed every year, for me it's 67. The exam takes places every 5-6 months and the timing for me is 2-5 all the time, but the result gets displayed after a year. Exam difficulty level is quiet medium. The admission takes much time and the college gets crowded because of admission of large number of students on a single day, so college should add more dates for admission....Read More
