- The University is accredited A++ by NAAC and has a wonderful infrastructure.
- The parking is highly secure and free of cost. The libraries are filled with all the literature needed , for courses and for research. Non-teaching staff is also very supportive.
- The teaching faculty is excellent and highly qualified.
Dislikes
- The canteen is quite costly and has bit of disorder.
- There's no transparency as to the processes happening in the University. For example , no students of the campus were availed the benefit of the scheme provided by state government viz. Phone and tablet distribution and the students weren't told the
- The administrative work is a bit slow and tedious.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because I saw the most benefit from getting it. The teaching faculty is excellent and so is the infrastructure and management. There are 11 Mathematics professors in the department with their excellence for 150 students (maximum) in two sections namely P1 and P2 , covering total syllabus and great student teacher interactions. The teachers are highly qualified with some of them having PDF(post doctoral fellowship) and everyone is excellent in their teaching ; I got the most enthusiastic and interactive session throughout the course. The exams are very much timely and are situated according to the comfort of students. The hardness level of examination is moderate. One can pass the exam easily with all the classes of the courses and a little bit of hard work.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is 3913 in the first year and 4263 in the second year, standard enough so that a common student can afford to study. There's also a financial assistance namely 'Earn while Learn' where students can earn up to 3,000 per month with only an hour a day of assistance in an assigned particular department.
Campus Life
There's no annual fest but there are department-specific fests organized by members of the department and students. The library of each department is filled with enough journals and study materials. There's a central Library with thousands of great books. There are also a lot of co and extra curricular activities organized by Deligacy.
Admission
One needs to have a bachelor degree involving Mathematics as one of the majors in final year to be eligible for entrance exam. The entrance examination form costs 800 INR. The entrance examination is usually held at Deeksha bhavan situated inside the university campus. The application form can be found on the admission portal of authorised site of the University viz. ddugu.ac.in and the application forms are out generally in month of May. One can have reservation as per their category and any affiliation to the University. The admission process is fairly smooth , you'll have no problem during the entire process.
