Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because maths is not my thing. I get good marks but really not interested in technical things. In medicine, you get to know about your own body and it's kind of really interesting and fascinating sometimes. You can even save people when no medical facilities are present or it might be the case of MI. It seriously gives literal pleasure after doing such a thing. What would be greater than saving someone's life? And there I decided to choose MBBS. So then I got AIIMS Kalyani as a fresher. Here they took 125 admissions. In counselling, 4 round occurs and major people got admitted in 1st and 2nd round. Here the faculty is the best They're passionate enough for the improvement of this college as it was established in 2019, but it still needs some improvement. Exams are conducted regularly like 2-3 each month depending on the chapter completion and they're a bit tough. And our college has the best environment to study!!
Fees and Financial Aid
The best thing I could say about being an AIIMSonian is their fees, like seriously it's fees is so minimal that it hardly is some 6k, including hostel charges for a complete y.5 yr course. I think it's the only institute which provides you with such low fees. The cost to study is also low as compared to other colleges, where the environment is best for one student to study. They have libraries. Also here the outing places are like nowhere so you can't ever go anywhere to do some extra things. Though there are some but still it's not much. By the way, the hostel room is one of the reasons for choosing this college. I didn't get any scholarship on behalf of my college.
Campus Life
The campus is the prettiest here. Every day you see a scenic view. It's the best thing to start a new day and after that, the lectures may change your mood, that's a different thing. The infrastructure is too good. Sports facilities are a bit less but they're improving. Library facilities have started recently. Classroom amenities are fine with two projectors. Still, there's a scope for improvement in some aspects.
Admission
So I gave NEET UG exam in 2022, Neet is basically for admission to respective medical or dental universities in India. In addition, it also allows for admission in AYUSH, (ayurdevic studies). It takes place every year and mostly occurs in May to July and the result comes around after 1 month but it may get delayed sometimes. So the minimum age to sit for the exam is 18 years for example if you're born in 2005 you're eligible in 2022 yr and there's no maximum age limit. The application form is released on the neet official website https://nta.ac.in. Application fees is different for different criteria i.e. 1700 for gen, 1600 for EWS and 1000 for other students. As per the reservation criteria, 15% of the seats are offered under all india quotas and the remaining 85% is under state quota. Peoples with categories really enjoy the benefits as their seats are reserved in both state and all India seats. SC-15% ST-7.5% OBC-27% PH-5% General people have to suffer a lot. This is what I found should change a bit.
