Entrance Preview
I wrote the common entrance test (CET) conducted by karnataka government. I chose this college because among the colleges which were available for the rank which i secured, this was the best college available.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to Visveswaraya technological university(VTU), belgaum. Though it does not match the qualities of foriegn universities or IIT's, it is one of the best among state universities and much better than, anna university, jntu, sv university, etc.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship provided for students belonging to electroniccs and communicationn stream students.
Placement Experience
Placements are not so good when compared to the earlier period when there was a different principal. But now the principal has been changed and again many MNC companies are visiting the campus for placements like capgemini, wipro, hcl, mu sigma, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides support to studets to obtain all the loans provided by the government. The college also provides a cash prize of 25000 for each of the toppers in each branch. Also every student ho gets above 70% will get a cash prize of 1000 rupees.
Campus Life
Though the campus is poor, we do have places to hangout and spend time with friends. The gender ratio is also good wih almost eqqual number of boys and girls. The college has IEEE committee which is awesome oppurtunity for students to participate in presentations, seminars, projects etc. The college has students from all regions.
