Remarks

There is ant thing wrong with the college but it could use some improvement in a couple of fields. Overall experience has been good so far.

Entrance Preview

I had to give JEE mains for this college. After that there was this JAC counseling that we had to go through for admission. No interview. After bagging a seat during counseling there was just document verification.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. There is fair focus on practical learning but needs more. Theory is much preferred. I don't have any knowledge of the research.

Internships Opportunities

Till now i.e first and second year i didn't have to do any internship. There are only summer training for 1.5 month. I think the college does provide training for students who are in their final year.

Placements is something that I am not really that informed about. But I think that it is average and there are good packages offered.

College Events

There is this cultural fest which is conducted by the college called Apratim. It is fun and there is ample opportunities during this fest for various talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees is 50 thousand per annum. The fee is pretty genuine and also affordable. I hadn't faced any problem in paying.

The college provides students with categories a scholarship. It also provides scholarship to students with economically weaker background.

Campus Life

The college is good in terms of extracurricular. There are sports events and technical events to participate in. I have a talent for singing and do get chances to show it

Hostel Facilities

No i am not residing in a hostel as I live near to college. I don't know about the rooms but the food is not good.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not so strong. There isn't really any interaction with alumni on college's behalf. Just those seniors who are pass out.

Exam Structure

Exams are pretty chill but labs sometimes make us feel tired. The duration of the labs is a bit too much and then there are classes as well.

Faculty

The faculty is fairly qualified but is very difficult to deal with. Some of them are interactive and take genuine interest while some are not that appreciated by us.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

The admission process was very time-consuming as it lasted for more than a month but it was ok and the admissions are based on JEE mains all india rank score. Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily.
