Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in commerce and accountancy and that's why I chose this course. There are around 800 students in the B.COM Morning department. The faculty is top-notch. All the professors are highly educated. The course is semester based. The level of the examination papers is really tough here.
Internships Opportunities
All the big 4 companies (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC), Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, eLearn markets, Josh Talks, etc. come to college and offer internships. The stipend varies from around 3k to 15k. Many social work, marketing, finance related projects are conducted.
Placement Experience
From the second year, students can opt for placement as Interns. All the big companies and firms like Deloitte, EY, PWC, Amazon, etc. come for campus placement. The average package for graduates goes around Rs.600000 every year. In 2021, a student grabbed a package worth Rs.2400000 which has been the highest till now. Almost 95% of students get the placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the B.COM Morning department are around Rs.80000 for almost all three years of the course with a slight hike each year. On the other hand, the fees for the evening department are just double as it is not government-aided.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs and societies with all operate in very formal and corporate culture ways, like, Xavier's Commerce Society, Xavier's Finance Club, etc. There are a few international-level societies too like Hult Prize and Enactus. All the societies keep on organizing some or the other event throughout the year.
