All about NIE, mysore

The course curriculum is really nice, it really suits well for internship and placement opportunities. We have regular skill development and other skill-based programs going on throughout the semesters. Faculty members provided a mixed review, some are very knowledgeable about the subject and really teach well, while some may find it difficult to express their knowledge, but overall all the teachers in this college are more than average. The only con is with Lab teachers, I find that Lab is not being utilized as it should be, I could've been better in many ways.

Internship opportunities are really great at NIE, also the college provides full support for Internships. Every semester skill development programs are held for students to be job ready. Which is really nice.

Placements In NIE are pretty nice. Placement is the only reason people choose NIE for their bachelor's degree. IS&E branch this year has an average package of around 14lakh per year, which is a very nice number.

The below data is all regarding IS&E and CS&E. If you're residing in Karnataka and join through KCET your tuition fee will be less than 1 lakh per year, while if you're outside Karnataka or Join through Comedk your yearly fee will be 2.6 lakh per year. If you choose to be in a hostel it costs 97500 per year, which hikes every year by some amount. Several scholarship opportunities are available, which you can avail as per the eligibility criteria.

The campus is really small, but the clubs here are pretty decent, the only thing missing in college is the fun part, I think college life shouldn't only be about academics and stuff, a little fun every once in a while is needed. Which our college lacks, but now they're trying to improve in that scope, let's hope it gets better.

As per the entrance exam if you're residing in Karnataka you can give KCET for the admission process, which generally costs less tuition fee per year as compared to other Entrance exams. Coming to COMEDK exam, which can be given by the nonresidents of Karnataka. Admission through Comedk costs almost double compared to KCET. But the college is worth it, the campus may not be vast campus, but the academics are very good, and placement, as well as internship opportunities, are Above average. For my admission, as I come from Jammu and Kashmir, we have a Scholarship scheme available for admission to colleges. It is called PMSSS(Pradhan Mantri Special Scholarship Scheme). This scholarship if availed, you have to pay no tuition fee, it will be provided by govt. To the college itself. And personal maintenance of 1lakh per year is also provided to the student. The eligibility of this scholarship is having less than 8lakh income per year and you have to come in merit, which is based on 12 class marks.
