A Comprehensive Review of KITS College

I have chosen this course due to the dominant influence of computers in today's world. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:6, indicating an effective teaching and learning environment. The teaching faculty are required to hold a Ph.D., while the non-teaching staff should have an M.Tech degree or higher. The faculty ensures that the syllabus is covered, and it is our responsibility actively participate in classes. There are two mid-exams held during each semester to assess our progress. Mid-exams and Semester exams are not difficult to pass, one can pass if he/ she has a good understanding.

Vodafone and Pivox Labs are the companies that offered internships in our college with stipends of 20,000 to 30,000. Along with internships many other students are working as freelancing Technical trainers.

Starting from the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 80% of the students secured placements in various companies, with some even receiving multiple offers, ranging from 2 to 9 LPA. Our academic year witnessed top recruiting companies like Wiley Edge, CGI, HCL, Hexaware, Apps Associates, TCS, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. Personally, I am eagerly looking forward to pursuing opportunities in software companies after completing my degree.

The standard annual fee for our academic year amounts to 75,000. However, with the fee reimbursement program, the government covers the fee in four installments per year. It is important to note that the student is responsible for expenses related to transportation, NBA fees, and CRT fees. I got placed in Tech Mahindra.

The annual Fest named Kits Yuva is a highly anticipated event, usually held during the months of April and May. In addition to the core subjects, the library has novels, daily newspapers, and magazines. The labs, Classrooms, and libraries are well-organized and equipped. The entire campus is equipped with Wi-Fi and air-conditioned classrooms. A dedicated group of students undergoes daily training to prepare for fests held both within our college and in other institutions. Students at our college run groups like Jeevan Kaushal and Infomac.

To be eligible for reimbursement provided by Andhra Pradesh Government, it is necessary to successfully pass the EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) entrance exam. However, in cases where the exam is not cleared, admission can still be obtained through the Management quota, at a cost ranging from 4 to 6 lakhs. The qualification marks for the entrance test are revised annually, taking into account the scores achieved by the students. Most Intermediate colleges handle the process of submitting the entrance exam application form, paying the fees, and providing information about the important dates. Additionally, ST and SC students have the opportunity to gain admission to better colleges compared to the general category.
