Course Curriculum Overview

Production engineering has management-related subjects that deeply interested me. It has chill coursework with a lot of cross-departmental opportunities in coursework. The student-faculty ratio is near 1:50 and all the faculty are PhDs and well qualified.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The campus offers internships to selected students who cleared the process with stipends ranging from 20k to 2L per month. The third-year internship is compulsory for all. TnP helps in training for internships too.

Placement Experience

4.5

5-6 semesters for internship and 7-8 for placements. Many companies visit with an average of 15 LPA and the highest of 40+ for our department. Circuital branches would have higher packages. Around 90% of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

No fee hikes. All are controlled by the NIT council. Full remission for SC ST and students with family income less than 1LPA. Though unethical, many also create fake income certificates in that case sometimes. A lot of scholarship schemes are available.

Campus Life

Festember in winter, Pragyan and Nittfest in summer. All are awesome. The library is huge with a lot of books and journals. A lot of active clubs related to all topics with good senior-junior bonding. Sports complex with multiple sports and a set sport culture.

Hostel Facilities

Table, cupboard, chairs, and beds are provided already. Size depends on the hostel and sharing. Some are really good while some are not that amazing. Food is also dependent on which mess you apply and your taste.

Admission

The entrance was JEE mains. You can look up relevant details for eligibility and category-wise cutoffs for each course from the college dunia website itself. In general, for OS General Candidate, 97%ile is the least to get into whereas CSE might need 99.9+%ile.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
