My college PES

The main reason I choose this course is completely my intrest in it. The faculty and student ratio is absolutely good. For each subject there is a senior professor and 3-4 assistant prfessors. All the senior professors are PHD holders and the assistant professors too Either it be internals, lab-exams or the semester exams everything is planned in the begining of the semester and the college never compromises with it for any cost, this is very important one to note. The way exams are conducted are also so good, the exams are hybrid mode exams i.e, it's a combination of both written and CBT mode : each question can be answered in the booklet or can be answer in the computers.

Interships are offered after 2nd year itself. Interns get a stipend upto a max of 40000. The average stipend is around 25-30K. After the second year there is summer gap of 3 months which is mainly given for interships.

Placements is very rewarding in PES and the main reason to the demand for admissions in our college. The campus selection goes on from the begining of the final year and the college takes the best care with respect to the placements of every student. Our college get many high profiled companies AMAZON, INFOSIS, WIPRO and many more as such. The college has many start up oppurtunities also. The average package is around 1200000 per anum.

Fee stucture is different for different admissions, there is no hike in the fees for each year for a student, but there is a hike in every year for new admissions which would be same for the next 4 years of the course. For admissions through KCET the previous year of my admission the fees was 1,05,000Rs whereas it was 1,12,000 for my admission. Scholarships are provided based on the merit for each sem main 2 scholarships are provided which returns the 30% of the fee and 50% of the fee based on the merits.

The college conducts many fest and there are many social clubs. Every week Hackathons are conducted which are very rewarding, and its a great opportunity to learn as we get exposure to the real time codeing.

My admission to the college was through a state entrance exam KCET, based on the rank I had secured the rank-32524. Based on the ranks, the KCET board does the counselling process in 3 rounds. The previous year of my admission had a cutoff of 35000 in my category. Once after the counselling allotment is done, I reported to the college the next day for admission procedures. The admission procedures went on smoothly with proper guidance at each step from the college faculty. There are other possible ways to get into our college 1. PESSAT- this is an entrance exam conducted by the college the fees would be around 4L for a year. 2. JEE- seats are given through JEE JOSSA
