Course Curriculum Overview

the courses are good and some professors give a new point of view to things you have never thought of before very extensive study sessions and teaching methods faculty to student ratio is about 15students:1faculty most are Ph.D. holders and have a unique set of teaching methods exams very difficult.

Placement Experience

from 7 th semester, every other major tech finance and consulting company Goldman Sachs bcg boston mckinsey Quant investment banker around 1300 offers made the highest 4.2 cr 100 percent students placed doing MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure is alright for general students for others various scholarships are available like mcm and others reservations and family income can get you stipends and scholarships as well also for bsc students a stipend of rs 30000 is provided every semester.

Campus Life

social life is good a lot of places to hang out on a very huge campus 3 major fests are full on 24/7 library, especially during exam periods every sports facility played in inter iit lots of clubs mainly categorized by games and sports media and cultural science and technology and academics and career council.

Admission

during my admission to IIT KANPUR for chem engg I went through JEE exam and also passed my 12th grade with decent marks. I should have been born after 1996 and cleared 12th grade with 75 or more percent I registered through jee advanced website and uploaded documents etc.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
