It has a good environment. Helpful for those who really want to study. I got to know more of human nature than academics.

JEE got me into it. It is the second most sought college after PEC in Chandigarh. I opted for B.E C.S.E, because of love towards software.

It is good but not really upto the mark. Practical learning is not emphasized too much. And whereever it is, there it is not necessary. Students can definitely get under the guidance of the few great teachers we have. And participate in research papers. Curriculum is like most of indian institutes lagging behind the current industry requirements.

No. I do not know of such. Might be but not that I know of. In my knowledge, recommendation letters have been provided, not any stipend.

Placement is very good for IT branches, almost 80%. Infosys, Deloitte, Jugnoo and other companies visit the campus. Avg. package around 3 lakhs.

It has got decent festivals. GOONJ is the main fest of our university. It is not that big, but a decent fest, not very well organised but every student enjoy it.

It is affordable. Almost 85,000 Rs. an year lumpsum, covering tuition fees and all other expenses (*not inclusive of hostel fees).

Certain, national scholarships are supported and easily availed. the college provide scholarship to the EWS category mainly, but many other scholarships are also available. I've not availed any yet.

Not much. I, personally did not participate much. But college has various committees that will surely help to enhance your personality.

Hostels are limited based on rank-merit. So, one has to get accommodation accordingly. The hostel rooms are decent and the life is good. I, was not in hostels for most of the time. The fees structure is really affordable of hostels, almost 20,000 an year (inclusive of electricity and water, exclusive of food).

We have got an active Alumni relations committee. It organises various events during an year. We get to know about many things like startups and get our talking skills improved.

The culture is really cool but it is exhausting sometimes. Most of the times 9-5. and some teachers don't even let us have lunch in time, they just want to finish the syllabus, whether it affects someones health or not.

Faculty is a mix of great people that are excellent both in areas of life(personality) and academics and also those that can't be relied on (in terms of knowledge). Overall, only few are worthy of respect.
