Course Curriculum Overview
The primary purpose of choosing this course is to be placed in a well-reputed company and gain some IT experience. The ratio is around 1:30 Qualifications of major faculties are Master's and Ph.D. holders. There are 3 exams in a semester, two mid-term and one end-term. The difficulty of the exam is too easy to moderate and depends on faculty checking as well.
Internships Opportunities
I got an offer in BYJU'S as BDA and Collegeduniya as BDM. BYJU'S offers a 7 LPA and Collegeduniya offers a 5.5 LPA and I choose Collegeduniya. I did a project in web development and machine learning during my college period.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, etc visited the campus for placement. The percentage of offers made is around 150-200%. The highest package is 84 lakh and the average package is around 8 lakh per annum. More than 90% of students placed in 2023. I have no plans for higher study right now.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is generally around 10-15% per year. I didn't get any scholarship or financial assistance during the college period. I got two offers from campus placement as JIIT is well known for its placements.
Campus Life
Fest is conducted on alternate years and going on 3-4 days. The availability of books and journals is well enough for the students. Amenities in classrooms are normal and easy for students to understand the concepts. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted regularly by the hubs of the college. There are sever hubs like Thespian, IEEE, CICE, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities provided by JIIT are sharing rooms, cleaning workers are available 2 times per day, AC rooms, laundry, and mess food. The meal of the mess is relatively good than other colleges. The hostel is lit expensive as fees for 1 semester is 1 Lakh. I lived in the hostel which is located on the JIIT campus.
Admission
Eligibility is based on the JEE mains rank and Class 12th percentages. All information like the application form, application fee, and application dates are available on their official website. No, there is no reservation in JIIT. No, I didn't see any improvement regarding the admission process.
