- Placement need to improve, College is about 76 years old with having good reputation so TPO has to look for every Branches equally and have to bring opportunity for other branches also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Jabalpur Engineering College is 3rd top College in Madhya Pradesh. There are in total 9 Branches with a capacity of 110 students in every branch (i.e. 990 students). All the teachers are well qualified many of them have master's degrees & above (i.e Ph.D.). Exams are taken timely there might be some delays sometimes (but that is ignorable, and the student will get their degree on time).
Placement Experience
To be honest, Placement is only for CS, IT, and EC Streams students. Very few companies came for Other Branches Student with Minimal Seats. Students of Other Branches have to look for IT Jobs from off-campus. The average package for 2022 was about 8 LPA, but this is not permanent Students get an average package of 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of this College is about 25000 a year i.e. whole B. Tech will be done under 110000. Students are Eligible for various Scholarships from State Government (only for OBC, ST, and SC). A placement Facility is average, student has to look for off-Campus, On-campus is mostly for CS, IT, and EC streams. Very few companies came for other branches with minimal seats.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, a minimum of 1 fest happens in a year. The library facilities are good, most of the students need not need purchase books from outside, they get books for their academics from Library itself.
Admission
Student must have qualified class 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) with 50% or above marks. And must have given JEE Mains paper. Application is available on www.dte.mponline.in website. Interested candidates may visit the website to apply for the colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
