Course Curriculum Overview

I am a Chemical Engineering student and I love chemistry in intermediate, so I chose this course. In our class, there are 52 members. For every semester there are 3 CIAs and one final semester examination.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am placed in cognizant technology solutions which provided both internship and full-time job roles. They paid 12000 per month as a stipend during the internship. In the 8th semester, one have to do either an internship or a final project in college.

Placement Experience

From the 8th semester campus placements start. More than 95% of students got placed, As per my knowledge, the highest package from our university is 24Lpa and the average package is 8 Lpa. Many of the students after completing their degree went to foreign for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is normal for all the students, 65000 for a semester and 1000 hike for every semester, 12000 - 18000 hostel fee per year according to luxury. 3,500 - 4000 per month will be a mess fee and have to pay it every month.

Campus Life

There are 3 types of annual fests happen every year and they are Daksh - Technical fest, Colloseum - Sports fest, KurukSastra - Cultural fest, And I am part of Kuruksastra, leading a Telugu cultural team Telugu Saahithi Samithi.

Admission

There is no entrance exam for SASTRA University. Just we have to apply for it by paying around Rs. 700 and by Jee mains + ipe marks average, they will provide a rank to everyone, and by the rank university arrange counseling. Counseling happens in 3 -4 rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Life at sastra university

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
