Remarks
The college is good. There are no good infrastructure facilities. Also the college timings are from 9 to 3:30 pm. There is no ragging. If you are looking for good placements then this is the best college.
Entrance Preview
The one and only entrance exam to my college is the A.P EAMCET exam. I wrote EAMCET an got a rank of approximately 25,000 and applied for the counselling. There was no interview process . In the counselling i opted for mechanical department in this college as i am interested in it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of my college was good. I choose Mechanical. So obviously there are many labs when compared to the classes in order to give us practical knowledge. There was lot of importance given to practical knowledge. Many research initiatives are taken and the college management supports us a lot. In the end of 3rd year we get a chance to choose the electives as well.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. My college provided internship. But only final year get the chance to do. Some of my seniors interned with TATA and directly got their offer letters at the time of internship. And some interned with Vizag steel plant. Those who are interning with government organisations don't get any stipend. But they get a immense exposure.
Placement Experience
The placements in my college were good. My college is the second best college for placements in the entire city. Almost 75 percent of the students gets placed. The average salary is 5 lakhs per annum. The top recruiters are Sonata, Mahati, Vizag steel plant, etc. The mechanical department has too much scope for the placements in my university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible and the tuition fee is 75,000 rupees per year. Those who want to avail the bus services need to pay an extra amount of 30,000 per annum. The fee is affordable and is most similar to many other colleges in visakhapatnam.
Faculty
The faculty in my college are very qualified. They have many years of experience in teaching. Some faculty are friendly and some are not. Some even help us personally in studies. Also some guest faculty are brought very frequently so as exchange their valuable knowledge. Their standards of teaching are very good and they always make sure that the concepts are understood by us.
