Overall the college is good. I am proud that I am a part of it. It's a good experience till now. There is more to explore. The crowd is good here and enjoying the academic as well as the extracurricular activities that are performed here.

There is no entrance exam for the admission. I got admission through merit list which was on the basis of my graduation percentage.

I chose the course food science. Basically it involves the biological study of the elements in food. There is equivalent distribution of theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Yes, the college encourage the students to put their more time in research and publishing the research papers if possible.

Yes, college provides internship opportunities. But since this is my first year in this college so I don't have much knowledge about that. Some internships are paid and some are unpaid. Stipend of paid ones varies from 7k to 12k per month, depending upon the company.

The placement cell is good. As per the peer discussion, around 80-90% of students got placed last year. I dont know much about the companies that visited the campus. The package varies from 4-8 lakhs per annum.

There are cultural fest and departmental fest every year. There is large amount of students who attend the fests including students from outsiders. The cultural fest lasts for 3 days whereas the departmental fest lasts for 1-2 days only. Yes, they organize the fests very nicely. The college authorities support the fests totally.

My fee is Rs. 22000 per annum. The fee structure is quite affordable for a student like me who belongs to middle class family.

Yes, college provide scholarships to meritorious students and also to economically weaker sections. The college also provide student loan facilities, but I dont have much knowledge about it as I have not availed it.

There are a lot more extracurricular activities. Almost every student participates in different activities of their interest. Ample opportunities are provided by the college. Project and thesis representative are also given in different colleges and students are also sent to different colleges for events.

Yes, the college provides the hostel facility. I am currently residing in college hostel. It is single room for one student. The rooms are very well designed. There are PGs also available but I don't have much knowledge about that as I have not tried the PG service yet.

Alumni network is good. They are a good source of guidance. Yes, the college provided the platform to listen and Interact with the seniors. Yes, besides the development of the college , there is a combination support of the students and alumni.

The exams are not tiring as they are arranged in proper intervals and are of a standard timing of 3 hours. The labs are quite interesting as we learn management skills along with the testing of food elements.

The faculty is very experienced and qualified too. Many of them are pursuing their PHDs in their respective subjects and some has already completed. They are very much interesting and interactive as they share their experiences. The smart teaching sessions are also increasing day by day.
