Remarks

Not so good college and also not the bad one. Average college.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college on JEE MAINS score. There was no interview process. I choose the course because of my personal interest in this field.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i had choose is very good as according to me. I mainly focus on practical learning. I do not think any research initiatives taken by the institute. I will recommend mechanical branch for this institute.

Internships Opportunities

No the college haven't provide any internship. So i don't have any experience about that.

Placement Experience

Only 10 to 15 percent students got placed. The major companies that visited the campus are HUWAIE, TCS,HTC,INFOTECH, BIKAJI, HALDIRAM etc. Average package is very low.

College Events

In previous 2 years only two events has been organized in the college. IGNITE and RISONANZA are only the events i have seen in my college. They are not so big events. Low footfall because they were organised at the time Diwali. College authorities contribute but only to a small extent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not so affordable. Fee structure for B.Tech student is 77000 per year i.e 38500 per semester and 1200 for exam per semester and some fees also for student welfare fund.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i have not availed any scholarship yet. College just informs us about the scholarships. I have no idea about the loan that college helps the student or not.

Campus Life

Very poor. College not encourage students for their talent in extracurricular activities. College authorities did not pay attention towards sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are not very good. Condition of rooms are poor. No single rooms are available, you have to share your room with other students. Even no separate bathrooms. No facility of PGs. I have paid 50000 for a year. Food of hostel was the worst food i have ever had. I am not happy with the facilities of hostel. Even there is no proper ground for sports and no proper gym.

Alumni/Alumna

Not very much interacted with the alumni. And also college don't provide any platform for student-alumni interaction. Alumni tries to contribute.

Faculty

Very qualified and experienced faculties are teaching the courses. But not all of them are good. Only a few of them are good. Not all are interactive. The worst thing I hate about some teachers is that their mentality, some teachers teaches only for passing they are not giving us knowledge they are just teaching us how to pass in exam.

My day by day growing college CTAE

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Life at BTU,Bikaner

I had applied for MBM,Jodhpur and RTU,Kota . The reasons are firstly they are more closer to my home town Jaipur , secondly they have better infrastructure, more educated faculty and MBM has its own mining site(I want to explore it). Also the environment of Kota and Jodhpur is more promising and satisfactory as compared to that of Bikaner. I did't got admission there because of my low reap rank or say JEE exam. Admission process is quite simple . I got admission through REAP(Rajasthan engineering Admission Process) which evaluates your JEE score(entrance exam for IITs , IIITs,NITs and GFTIs) and 12th score and gives a ranking .The eligibilty criteria for this course is passing class10+2. The college also provides direct admission on the basis of 12th score . During the admission process student must have to carry all the documents along with the passport size photograph . It is more convenient to bring a guardian or any member that is more comfortable for that process....Read More
