Course Curriculum Overview

Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary course. This course is offered in only very few colleges. It involves the engineering for technological development in the medical sector. The number of faculties and professors for this course in the college is pretty good. With good teaching methods, one professor who taught us in the 1st sem has done his B. Tech in biomedical engineering from Manipal University and Ph.D. from iisc Bangalore. There is mid-semester exam in every 2.5 months and end semester exam in 6 months. Exams are quite easy to pass.

The top recruiters of NIT Raipur in the recent past included leading companies such as Capgemini, Infosys Adobe, Aditya Birla Group, and Wipro, etc. The highest number of offers were received by the IT & Mechanical students. B.Tech & MCA students received a total of 649 & 65 offers respectively. A total of 101 recruiters participated in NIT Raipur Placements 2022.

The campus placements in our college are pretty good it comes under the top 10 nits in campus placements. The average package offered during NIT Raipur placements in 2022 stood at INR 10.1 LPA. Further, a total of 738 offers were received and 101 companies visited the campus during NIT Raipur placements in 2022. Apart from this, a total of 649 and 65 offers were received during NIT Raipur BTech and MCA placements in 2022, respectively.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a 100% tuition fee waiver for students whose family annual income is less than 1 lakh and for all st and sc categories students. There are many campus placement opportunities in tech but in the core domain of biomedical Engineering, there are not enough opportunities.

Campus Life

The campus life in Nit Raipur is not very good compared to other nits. Many fests are conducted in the college such as, E summit which is conducted in November month but the entrepreneurship cell of nit Raipur. Eclactica is the cultural fest of nit raipur. Aavartan tech fest of nit raipur. Samar sports fest of nit raipur. Many clubs are there in nit raipur such as, Entrepreneurship Cell, Technocracy - The tech club. Samar - The sports committee and many more.

Admission

The course I have opted for at the National Institute of Technology Raipur is Biomedical Engineering. The eligibility for this course is the student must have passed 12th with a minimum 75% aggregate in physics, chemistry, and maths. The selection process is through jee mains exam. There is a reservation of 15% for sc,7.5% for st, 27%for OBC (NCL), 10 for EWS, and 5% for the PWD category.

This college is the best college in whole Chhattisgarh in terms of placements. This college will give you best placements that even the gov. college of it's level will not. Admission:

I had completed my diploma From Rungta college in 2015 and then by Counseling (Counselling of BE /B Pharma) I got Lakhmi. Chand institute Of Technology college then there was a call from the college for my Document verification after verification I filled up the admission form, then the fee submission.

I applied in jossa counselling and get this college via that counselling because of my jee mains rank i got this college very best whatever I can get so i didn't really apply for any college just got addmission into this college because of jossa counselling and jee mains and jee advanced. I want to join iits but my rank was not that good so i didn't get seat into college like iit Bombay, iit Delhi, iit Kharagpur etc. I get addmission iny college firstly you have to give jee mains exam and get ranks as follows 75000 for general studies to get addmission in my college via jossa counselling or csab counselling you got the seat then pay the seat acceptance fee and book the seat in college then go to physical reporting to that college....Read More

My Daily Life At NIT Raipur

I had applied for NIT Silchar , But i didn't got it because of Low percentile in Jee Mains 2025 but i got NIT Raipur At Last Because NITs Have Home State quota and I Belong to Chattisgarh ,so i got NIT . I didn't Choose this college this was the only option i Had Left . So i had to choose this college that to Bio Technology Branch .but anyways i got good college ,better than half of the private institute in the manner of Fees and Reputition . We got admission through JOSAA , And we have to qualify Jee Mains Examination ,which Is Conducted By NTA ( National Testing Agency ) . The cutoff the exam category wise are Gen - 93.4 Percentile , Obc-82.1 Percentile , Sc -61 Percentile , And For ST it is 48 Percentile.
