Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a little old but okay for a decent package. I choose this course because of my interest in and knowledge of computer science. Faculty is around 400 for overall college students which were around 8000 or more. All the faculty is highly qualified and experienced. The teaching style of the faculty is not so good but you can understand what they want to express. Term exams are a little difficult but you can pass them by studying in just one night.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not available at the college but you can get one from the companies offering jobs and do get a good stipend. Google, Boston, and Walmart offer internships with a very good stipend Projects and outcomes depend on the requirements of the company, as their demand is having knowledge of c, c++, java, Linux, etc.
Placement Experience
College placements are just average but beneficial for beginners as it helps to get better job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Boston, Walmart, etc visit MSI and offer students. The highest package offered is 600000 per annum and the average package is 350000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is simple you have to pay a sum of 105000 for three times, once a year, so the total fee is around 315000. Fees are not generally hiked. You can avail of a scholarship if you are under ews or low-income category. Job is provided to almost every student if they are good in their academics.
Campus Life
Social life is not so good in MSI. Annual fest and tech fest occur once a year and sometimes two to three times in a year as they are conducted by social clubs. Sports and extra circular are not conducted. Meraki, NSS, etc are the societies run by the students.
Admission
The admission process is simple as you are required to give cuet entrance examination from ipu and based on your rank you will be allotted a college based on your choice of a college list. Application forms, fees, and application dates are found on the official ipu website. Reservation benefits can be availed if you're under sc st or obc category. No improvement is required for the admission process as it is very simple.
