Not much tension of attendance, low fee is positives on the other hand low lab participation, low practical knowledge,internship opportunities absent were the negatives.

I go admission through MPPET exam 2012 , nowdays the admission is through JEE mains combined score. I made a list of colleges available through the exam and this is in the 6th number. There was no interview process . I chose petrochemical engineering after looking through the opportunities available after the course.

The course was good but the process which was followed by the institute was not acceptable, there was no focus on practical learning and no research initiatives were taken by the college.

No internship was provided by college, all you have to do on your own. Stipend depends on where you are doing internship. Hardly 2 -3 students got the stipend.

The placement is not ao good the software companies used to recruit in bulk amount like TCS only recruited 244 students from the batch . The major companies that visited were TRIDENT (9 students ) TCS . Around 50% got placed thanks to TCS

The events were limited, no technical event no managerial event but there used to be a cultural event. Not much big , college authorities used to have limited contribution in this.

This is one of the few good points about college, the fee is quite low around 24000 per year makes it affordable for everyone along with scholarship available.

Govt scholarship were available for SC ST and OBC students, no help was provided in getting loan.

A sport event used to be there only to show your talent. Nothing else

I was not in the hostel. But the rooms were good and food was acceptable and nowadays there is new building for hostels which is way better than the previous ones on a sharing basis.

Exams were frequent but not labs and there is nothing that you will feel tired there were mid semester according to schedule , it was somewhere between chill and tiring culture.

Faculties were good as usually happens in a government college but usually there was no interaction, being a govt college there is particular set of instructions about recruitment of teachers, but the standard of teaching is not as such good.
