Likes
- Good campus exposure, had a very great time in the campus. Got some great friendships for the life and made a lots of memories with them in my college days.
- Up-to-date course curriculum, they have the latest up-to-date curriculum for their students which they keep on updating time-to-time.
- Good Campus Placement Opportunities, got the opportunity to sit in a lot of campus drives of various companies which had given me more experience with the interviews and the hiring procedures.
Dislikes
- Not got any internship opportunity from the college side, they didn't even helped us in getting any internships opportunity.
- Worst food and experience with the mess facility that has been provided.
- Only 1 academic block felt very congested and sometimes it feels worst while roaming in campus for any important work, it felt like we are in the market.
Course Curriculum Overview
One thing I liked the most is their up-to-date course curriculum, they included the subjects like AI/Ml, the Internet of things, and Data Science as the specialization subjects which we can choose in our 3rd year and can go with one specialization of our choice. There is also a choice of a minor subject which other than our main curriculum is another subject which we can be taken as of our interest. And they also have a lot of qualified faculties who are always available to help you. Talking about the exams, there is 1 class test, internal assessments(i.e., Assignments, PPT Presentations, etc.), and a final semester exam every 6 months. You can easily clear those exams if you have a basic idea of the concepts that were explained by your faculties in your class.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good in this college, students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for the placements. Companies come for their campus drives from the start of the 7th semester and come to the end of the 8th semester. So basically the placement drive is divided into 2 phases, the 1st phase happens in the 7th semester and the 2nd phase starts in the 8th semester. So many companies visited our campus like Capgemini, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Cisco, Wipro, TCS, L&T, Adani, IBM, Atlassian, Mahindra & Mahindra, Genpact, NewGen Software, DXC Technologies and Startups like PhysicsWallah, Yulu, TravClan, JustDial, Intellipaat, etc. The highest package that was offered is between 30-35 LPA and the average package is of 4-5 LPA. Nearly 85 - 90% of students from our batch got placed, I also got the placement so I am going to join the company after I complete my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
They have different fee structures based on the courses that you can see on their official college website, they have mentioned every detail regarding the course fees. Their fee hike policy is somewhat 2-3k per year. I found the course a bit costlier but their up-to-date course curriculum compared to other colleges and as it is a private college so have to compromise with their fees. And, yes they also provide you the scholarship based on your 12th percentage which is 25%, 50%, and 100% on their tuition fees. They also provide you with campus placement opportunities, and lots of companies with international companies also come here for hiring students. The average CTC would be 4-5 LPA and the highest CTC goes up to 35-40 LPA.
Campus Life
I would say one would get great life exposure on this campus as you are going to meet people from every corner of India, you are going to make some greatest friends of your life, and have thousands of memories with them in your entire college life. They have their annual fest "AMISPARK" in the months of MAR - APR, a lot of fun activities and enjoyments you will have in this annual fest. They also have their annual sports competition "SANGATHAN" every year in the month of SEPTEMBER or OCTOBER, many sports will be there in which one can take part. They have a very beautiful well-maintained library with a lot of books and journals, in 9-5 hrs one can go there and use the resources as of their needs. They also have a centralized AC academic building with proper classrooms and lecture halls, current they only have one academic building which many times feel conjusted and noisy but now they are building two more academic blocks after which it will be good and well-maintained for every student.
Hostel Facilities
Their hostel building is very new, build just 4-5 years ago. They provide you a bed, an almirah, a cupboard, a study table, a chair and along with this they also provide you with the bedsheets, pillow, towel and curtains. Every room is shared by 2 students and they have a seprate attached bathrooms, the rooms and toilets are cleaned everyday. Overall the hostel is good and cleaned everyday but the food quality to not good at all, we as a students complained many times but no improvements at all. If one just want to survive they can but cannot expect a tasty foods or foods like they get in their homes or in hotels. Registration process for hostel and mess both are very simple and will be guided to you once you reach their physically, these process are done physically only you can only register for hostel online by paying thier fees (i.e., 51000 when I was studying, that may have changed right now). Generally alot of students apply for hostels as their are no rooms available nearby.
Admission
The admission process is very simple you just need to fill out the application form and they will charge 1000 - 1200rs for the application form. They will only check if you have passed the 12th board exams and make sure you don't have supplementary in any subjects. For application form, you can get that by visiting the campus or you can get that from their official college website by paying the charges for that application form. As such they don't have any special reservation benefits and I haven't availed anything like that, but sometimes they waive off the registration form fees if you register in the given time.
