Vasavi College of Engineering

The college has well-equipped CS labs and better faculty for this course so I chose this course in this college. Faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:10 . Faculty are student-friendly. They helped me a lot in developing my skills. Faculty have Ph.D. from prestigious universities (OU, JNTH) and NITs. They follow a curriculum that is on par with IIITS and conduct exams on time and the paper is tough.

After 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Around 100+ companies visit my college including top companies like Amazon, and Google. Last year Amazon made 30+ offers for avg package of 32 lakhs CTC. And the highest package was 80 lakhs. Avg package stands at 8 lakh. 90% of students get placed every year. I plan to do majors in cs at top universities.

There has been a fee hike of 20k to 1.4 lakh. New systems, acs have been added to the college. A new block has also been made. And the top class faculty justify this fee hike. I got a state government full-fee reimbursement scholarship for being from an underprivileged class. I am currently in 1st so I haven't got any internships and jobs yet.

The annual fest "EUPHORIA" is held during early summer in the month of March-April after the completion of sem-end exams. There are hackathons, tech fests, and workshops all around the year. The college library is the biggest in the state with books of all kinds and an online library also. One downside of my college is a small playground and less amenities for sports. The indoor sports room is also small. There are many clubs like Swayam, Toastmasters, and Music run by students only. Swayam volunteers for activities in college, help entrepreneurs, and held various conferences in college.

To avail admission candidate should get below 2k rank in the EAMCET exam or they can get through BCAT which require 92+% in JEE MAINS. All the application details are available on the college website or you can ask for them in the administration office. The state government provided scholarships of full-fee reimbursement for SC ST students. The admission process is quick and trouble free with regular emails to students about their admission.
